U.K. social media users express reservations about social ads

Social media is "not always the advertiser's friend," according to a report from YouGov. A survey of U.K. social media users found that almost half objected to social-ad targeting, while 44% said they ignore social brand recommendations and 43% said they wouldn't share information even about brands they personally liked.
