Medicare patients with diabetes may save up to 72% on diabetes testing supplies bought through CMS' competitive mail-order contracts program when the agency expands the initiative and its bidding for durable medical equipment beginning in July. However, the DME industry has raised concerns about the program, including that it offers fewer and lowest-cost products.
