U.S. ethanol producers slam EU's anti-dumping tariff

American ethanol companies are criticizing the EU's imposition of a five-year, countrywide anti-dumping levy on U.S. ethanol. The punitive action will push up the price of U.S. ethanol in the EU by about 10%, the companies said. "That shuts us out of the market -- we are no longer the lowest-cost fuel on the planet," said Ed Hubbard, general counsel of the Renewable Fuels Association.
