Chobani gets a boost from Sochi sponsorship

Protests surrounding Russia's anti-gay law haven't led to a hostile response for Winter Olympics sponsors, according to YouGov BrandIndex. Chobani, a U.S. sponsor that has criticized the law, has emerged as the big winner among Sochi sponsors, showing the most growth in buzz and purchase consideration during the first week of the Games. Nonsponsor Chevrolet has seen a significant increase in purchase consideration among gay and lesbian individuals as a result of its ads showing gay families, the survey showed.
