Companies stop trading swaps because of DTCC backlog

Two companies say they have stopped trading swaps because a backlog at Depository Trust & Clearing's European trade repository has meant they are unable to report trades. Under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation, swaps users are required to report trades to a repository.
