Digital lags in local marketing, survey shows

Nearly 75% of digital brand marketers in North America invest in local marketing, but only 8% are "completely satisfied" with the results, according to a Balihoo survey. Seventy-eight percent of respondents said social media was important in local marketing, and 76% said so of websites -- but more marketers said digital channels were important for national campaigns than for local ones.
