Proposed soda tax gains support from Calif. consumers

Data from a Field Poll showed two-thirds of California voters support legislation that would tax soda and other sugary drinks, while 74% strongly or somewhat agreed that manufacturers should put evidence-based health warning labels on their products. A separate Field Poll also found seven in 10 respondents were in favor of not allowing the use of food stamps to buy such beverages.
