Why educators should showcase their work online

Today's educators should create online portfolios of their work, according to George Couros, a school administrator in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada. Besides demonstrating superior organizational capabilities and offering the ability to showcase videos and other digital pieces, online portfolios can prompt educators to put more thought into their work and learn from feedback they receive, Couros suggests in this blog post. "If we are to look at online portfolios as both a way to 'showcase' and 'learn', they are hugely beneficial to our growth," he writes.
