Growth plan for Ontario calls for higher density, less sprawl

Under new planning rules governing development in Canada's Ontario province, sprawl will be contained and building will focus more on higher density and higher quality development. The 25-year plan offers a blueprint for growth, and in addition to reigning in sprawl, the plan calls for greenbelts to help protect environmentally sensitive areas.
