Continental reports larger Q4 loss

Continental Airlines posted a $32 million fourth-quarter loss, greater than a loss of $26 million in the previous year. The latest results include a charge of $104 million related to the airline's deferred tax asset valuation allowance and a $30 million gain from selling shares of a provider of transportation communications and systems engineering.
