Indiana communities mull highway deal

Under a proposed deal, Indiana may pay as much as $147 million to finish the long-delayed Ronald Reagan Parkway and rename it as Ind. 267, while local governments would take over the old Ind. 267. Local officials say the 15-mile north-south road, which would connect I-70 in Plainfield, Ind., with I-74 in Brownsburg, Ind., would boost economic development and improve transportation.
