S. Korea president-elect cleared of securities fraud charges

Investigators in South Korea have cleared president-elect Lee Myung-bak of the securities fraud charges levied against him. "We found the president-elect was not involved in stock manipulation," said chief prosecutor Chung Ho Young. Lee, South Korea's first president-elect to undergo a criminal investigation, takes office Monday.
