Netflix deals for "The Artist," other films ahead of pay-TV outlets

Netflix's U.S. subscribers will have access to Oscar best-picture nominee "The Artist" under an agreement with Weinstein Co. in which the streaming-video provider will receive exclusive pay-television rights to foreign language, documentary and other movies. The deal will give Netflix the rights to such films as the Oscar-nominated documentary "Undefeated," the French-language World War II drama "Sarah's Key" and the documentary "Bully" within one year of their debut in the theaters.
