New Food Network iPad app includes recipe comparisons

The new Food Network in the Kitchen iPad application offers users an improved interface, side-by-side recipe comparison, collections grouped by types of cuisine such as Mexican or Asian and a helpful ability to add notes to recipes, writes USA Today reviewer Marc Saltzman. Drawbacks include a lack of video and nutritional information. "While not perfect, Food Network in the Kitchen is an appetizing $2 addendum to the TV network, as it houses thousands of recipes from various TV shows and the website into an easy-to-use and attractive digital cookbook," he says.
