Report: Second screens were a hit with millennial Super Bowl viewers

Second screens are becoming a way of life for millennials, with 86% using a laptop or a smartphone to socialize with friends while watching the Super Bowl, according to a Mr Youth survey. More than six out of 10 young viewers sent text messages during the game, more than half used smartphones to access Facebook, and almost a quarter used the devices to access Twitter. "Nobody just watches TV anymore," eMarketer notes.
