Build-A-Bear sets new standard for canine couture

Millennial women who grew up on Beanie Babies and graduated to small dogs are flocking to Build-A-Bear Workshop to dress their canines in outfits originally created for the retailer's stuffed bears. "These women have this ‘make it work’ attitude that they’ll hack a computer program to get it to do what they want, they’ll create or repurpose stuff to meet their needs," said youth marketing analyst Melanie Shreffler.
