Report: Spotify talks with record labels about free play on mobiles

Spotify hopes to get more generous terms in music licensing agreements with the leading record labels, including longer periods of free play on mobile devices, the Verge website reports, citing music industry sources. The music-streaming service is reportedly in talks with Warner Music and wants to reduce the fees it pays for licensing music, which are said to account for about 70% of operating costs.
