Time Warner Cable boosts speeds in Austin, Texas

Time Warner Cable this summer will boost its "Ultimate" tier in Austin, Texas, to 300 Mbps on the downstream and 20 Mbps on the upstream. The cabler, which will be competing against Google Fiber and an expanded network from AT&T, also plans to increase speeds for its lower-tier offerings.
