Army veteran Ron Adams turned to franchising after his military career, due in part to the IFA's VetFran program, which helps veterans enter the franchising industry. VetFran recognizes the natural fit between former military personnel and franchising, due to soldiers' leadership strengths and familiarity with operating under standardized systems. "I want to give back to veterans," said Adams, who owns an NHance cabinet and floor renewal franchise, with the goal of opening two more and hiring veterans to work there. "I really wanted to find a business where I could give back to them."
