Would you pay a penny to send a tweet?

Twitter should consider charging users a nominal amount -- a penny, say -- for each tweet they send, writes Sanjay Sanghoee. That would reduce the flow of worthless chatter, boost Twitter's revenues and increase the site's value to brands. "[M]ore relevant tweets could lead to higher engagement by users and enable the company to increase its advertising rates," Sanghoee writes.
