Financing conflict jeopardizes $20 billion Syracuse project

Destiny USA, a massive $20 billion retail, resort and research complex proposed for a former industrial site in Syracuse, N.Y, is in jeopardy due to a conflict between developer Pyramid Companies and the city of Syracuse. The city has refused to accept Pyramid's financing proposal and the action has caused the company to lay off 90% of its design and construction team for the project.
