McCain urges Bush to push temporary worker program

Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, is calling on U.S. President George W. Bush to take action to help gain approval in Congress for a temporary guest worker program. Plans for a temporary worker program were delayed by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and other setbacks. But Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., said the Senate will begin considering immigration legislation March 27.
