ASTA seeks discussions on passenger rights with airlines, ATA

ASTA President and CEO Cheryl Hudak, CTC, issued a statement recently in response to the controversy sparked by a couple of incidents where planes filled with passengers were stuck on runways. Hudak said the organization is pursuing talks with airlines and Air Transport Association representatives to make sure airline passengers are treated properly. ASTA is not currently seeking legislative action, such as the proposed Passenger Bill of Rights, but may start in that direction if necessary. Read the complete release.
