Fed could quickly reverse interest-rate cuts

The Federal Reserve has signaled that interest-rate cuts could be quickly reversed once the economy recovers. Minutes of the central bank's January meeting indicated that rates would remain low "for a time." Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said last week that rates would have to be calibrated over the course of the next year to address inflation concerns.
