Israeli legislator says pro-gay laws bring earthquakes

An ultra-Orthodox Jewish Israeli lawmaker has linked a recent spate of earthquakes in the Holy Land to the passage in Parliament of "legislation on how to encourage homosexual activity in the state of Israel." Shlomo Benizri was referring to Israeli recognition of all marriages performed abroad, granting of inheritance rights to gay couples and last week's ruling that same-sex couples could adopt.
