Oregon to merge schools for students with sensory disabilities

Rather than spend more than $50 million to upgrade its schools for students who are deaf and those who cannot see, the Oregon state education board voted to combine the campuses. Both schools as well as advocates for students with visual disabilities have objected to the plan.
