Less HRT use is behind decline in breast cancer, study says

Harvard University researchers said the drop in breast cancer rates among women over age 50 is linked to less use of hormone replacement therapy. They said the decline was most significant for cases of estrogen receptor-positive cancer and among affluent, white women who were most likely to have used HRT.
