Social media creates new wrinkle for Olympics rules

Red Bull and Verizon violated Olympics rules when they posted Facebook and Twitter updates about the Vancouver Winter Games; Red Bull removed its postings, while Verizon denies they are marketing related. Officials ask all nonsponsors not to make any mention of the Games or participants. Social media have created a new gray area for this ban.
