UNEP: Growing danger from e-waste

The amount of electronic waste being created around the world may increase by as much as 500% within 10 years as consumer demand for products outpaces recycling capabilities, the United Nations Environment Programme warns in a new report. A greater push for recycling and increased action from manufacturers would help alleviate some of the mounting public health and environmental concerns, UNEP says.
