Wal-Mart to acquire Vudu

Wal-Mart confirmed it will acquire a Silicon Valley startup called Vudu. The latter's online movie service is being built into televisions and Blu-ray players. Amazon, Comcast, EchoStar and other companies also had expressed interest in buying Vudu, a source said.
