Alcohol-to-jet fuel could be a potential replacement for traditional jet fuel. "This is a 100% replacement jet fuel from the most abundant feedstock in the world -- sugar," said Kevin Weiss, CEO of Byogy Renewables. Qatar Airways has signed a deal with the company to use its fuel after it receives certification.
