Comcast looks to discourage cord cutting with streaming service

Comcast says it will debut a streaming-video service that will put it in more direct competition with online video providers such as Netflix and Hulu. Xfinity Streampix will be available to Comcast subscribers for free or $4.99 per month, depending on the subscriber's tier plan. The service will include movie and television offerings from studios and networks including Walt Disney Co., Warner Bros., Sony Pictures and its own NBC Universal.
