Florida Senate health committee OKs HPV vaccine bill

A Florida Senate health committee on Wednesday approved a bill that would require schools to provide parents of sixth-grade students with information about human papillomavirus vaccines. In presenting his bill to the committee, Sen. Thad Altman, R-Melbourne, said the bill is an information service for parents, not a mandate.
