Mars unveils solar garden in Nevada

A Mars facility in Henderson, Nev., will be powered solely by solar panels during peak hours using a newly unveiled solar garden, the company announced. "This newest solar garden moves us closer to our goals of eliminating our carbon footprint at our sites by 2040 and using 100% renewable energy," said Mike Wittman, vice president of supply at Mars Chocolate North America.
