Re-engined E-Jet could be available earlier, Embraer says

Embraer plans to move up availability for its re-engined E-Jet as early as 2016, the company announced. The jet was originally scheduled to become available in 2018. Availability depends on which engine is selected to power the E-Jet. The manufacturer is considering engines from Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Rolls-Royce.
