Sales sluggish for equipment dealers in Massachusetts

The warm winter in Massachusetts has slowed sales of snow-removal equipment and increased winter inventories. "The landscaper, who generally takes advantage of plowing, sanding and snow removal, he's the same customer who would come in and buy equipment in the springtime. Dealers now are concerned their cash flow is going to be strained. No one knows what the spring is going to be like," said Donald Satterfield of Crandall-Hicks, an authorized Ariens dealer.
