Looming sequestration could affect ATC facilities

If Congress is unable to avoid looming federal budget cuts, the Federal Aviation Administration will be faced with a $627 million reduction in its budget, said FAA Administrator Michael Huerta. The National Air Traffic Controllers Association said cuts of 8.2% could mean the furloughing of up to 2,200 workers.
