San Diego County to vote on suburban development limits

On March 2, voters in San Diego county will decide whether 1,000 square miles of land will have a 20-year ban on development. The Rural Lands Initiative has been proposed to combat suburban sprawl, but the construction industry and farmers are concerned the initiative may be a simplistic response to complicated development issues.
