Boeing sells three plants to Canadian firm

Jetmaker Boeing sold its Wichita, Kan., commercial airplane operations to Canadian investment firm Onex. The Wichita plant makes parts for all of Boeing's commercial planes. Onex has signed long-term agreements to supply Boeing with parts. It also purchased Boeing's plants in Tulsa and McAlester, Okla. Separately, Boeing said it sold its Rocketdyne rocket engine unit to United Technologies for $700 million.
