Northrop would receive funds under White House request

The White House will request more spending related to Navy shipbuilding and other defense procurement affected by hurricanes that hit the Gulf Coast last year. Northrop Grumman is among the defense firms that would benefit from the supplemental funds. The request includes $1.05 billion to replace damaged or destroyed equipment for Navy ships and for work force costs.
