Study: Statin combo as safe as single drug for muscles

A new study reports the combination anti-cholesterol drugs simvastatin and ezetimibe in Vytorin, made by Merck/Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, is no more damaging to muscles than simvastatin alone.
