Virginia smoking ban legislation proposal altered

Legislation to ban smoking in Virginia restaurants and other public places has been altered to include more flexibility for hotel and motel operators, allowing them to determine the percentage of smoking and non-smoking guest rooms. The bill had originally called for no more than 25% of rooms to have smoking designations.
