State legislatures consider mandatory autism insurance

Bills that would require insurance companies to pay for autism identification and treatment are before legislatures in seven states, and that might increase to eight if Ohio proposes a bill as expected. Legislators in two other states -- Oklahoma and Virginia -- have already defeated such bills this session.
