Taiwan warns of urgent need for trade deal with China

Taiwanese Economics Minister Yiin Chii-ming warned that the island nation faces collapse of its export sector if it fails to approve a free-trade deal with China. Without an agreement, he said, Taiwan could become marginalized next year when the full implementation of China's regional-trade deal with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations takes effect.
