CTIA, carriers warn FCC on further regulation

AT&T, Verizon Communications and CTIA-The Wireless Association® on Monday urged the FCC not to increase its jurisdiction over Internet and telecom issues, saying more regulative scrutiny could discourage broadband investment. Joined by the National Cable & Television Association, the groups wrote a 14-page letter to the agency terming regulatory rules under consideration as "extremist."
