District uses technology team to support, train teachers

A California district is helping educators narrow the technology gap among educators through its Tech Leaders Integrating Technology in Education team. The team is comprised of five teachers who act as mentors to train fellow educators to use technology tools in the classroom. "What we are seeing is some of our greatest innovators in using technology are our younger teachers because they themselves have grown up as digital natives," the district's technology director said.
