Insurance industry responds to Obama's reform proposal

Limiting price increases among insurance companies will not curb the U.S.'s soaring health care costs, said Karen Ignagni, AHIP president and CEO. Insurers took issue with the Obama administration's new health reform plan, and Tufts Health Plan CEO James Roosevelt Jr. said the insurance provision "is a quick fix that deals with the symptoms instead of the underlying disease."
