Republican senators tell EPA not to issue rules based on erroneous data

During the Senate hearing for the Environmental Protection Agency's budget, Republican lawmakers said the agency should not push through with greenhouse-gas regulations because its findings are based on questionable data from the U.N. Climate scientists have "cooked the books," said Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla. Democratic lawmakers countered that there is an abundance of evidence pointing to GHG emissions for causing global warming.
