A social photo-clipping service called Fancy could challenge Pinterest's dominance, Sarah Perez writes. The site has developed a technology that lets users buy products that have been "fancied" without leaving the site, adding a potentially lucrative social-commerce layer. "We've constrained our growth to be laser-focused on commerce, and that's working for us in terms of the quality that's on the site," CEO Joe Einhorn says.
