Caregiver struggles to reclaim her life after mother dies

When Ellen Goode brought her elderly mother home to give her better care, she put her professional and personal life on hold and risked her own health. Since her mother's death in January, the woman has begun reorganizing a home filled with medication lists, pillboxes, wipes and oxygen tubes. "Every step, it's like, there is this feeling right here," she said, indicating her heart.
